A look into the stories of people around us. We are all connected, living some of the same scenarios, experiences, emotions, and situations. Ubiquitous Dance places a magnifying glass to commonalities of cross dimensional experiences that will take the audience on a journey of enlightenment and self reflection.

All-Star Clinic

Performance Opportunity 

FEB 5TH

The Dance Collective strives to support and celebrate dancers from various backgrounds and is excited to announce the DC All-Star Clinic opportunity for ages 10-18.  Dancers that are interested in participating as a DC All-star can register for the workshop for an opportunity to learn choreography and perform in the "Ubiquitous" dance production on February 5, 2023.   

The Clinic:
Dancers will learn choreography from 8a-12noon (Feb 5th) and perform as a DC All-star dancer.  





 

MEET THE DIRECTOR

Monet Beatty is the Director of MBDANCECO, established in 2015.  As a creative in dance, influence marketing, sustainability, and project management, Monet has produced two productions that connect diverse backgrounds in casting and subject matter.  Love In Motion, Breathe, and now Ubiquitous demonstrates how much we are alike in our struggles, happiness, and perseverance.  Monet Beatty is a humanitarian that is passionate about sharing light, love, equality, and access to marginalized communities.  Monet Beatty received her Masters in Sustainability in 2021 from Wake Forest University.  She is an independent contractor, completing contacts with Atrium Health, Tractor Supply, City of W-S, and many more.  She is passionate about dance, and is a faculty member at Epic Dance Showcase convention, as well as an adjudicator/judge for dance competitions.  Monet Beatty is the new Director of North Carolina’s Dance Collective, a place where dance enthusiasts, and supporters come together as a community to celebrate immersed and collaborative storytelling.  Monet is an award winning choreographer, and is sought out from several dance studios to set pieces of work on their students.  Monet’s style of dance includes, athleticism, contemporary and ballet technique, dynamic expression of movement, and exquisite vulnerability in expression.
